General Guidelines |
The purpose of this project is to examine the effects of the cumulative alterations of the Great Lakes hydrologic systems and develop a framework for better understanding what activities can address the negative impacts of these alterations. Specifically, the results will be a better understanding of the broader environmental benefits of water conservation beyond water use reduction and how those benefits can be characterized, captured and potentially monetized. The project will develop protocols for instituting the potential activities to offset those effects and identifying those that need certification protocols as well as develop protocols for some of these activities. |
