New Sustainability Certification for Crop Advisors

American Society of Agronomy via Morning AgClips

Certified Crop Advisors (CCAs) serve a critical role in agriculture today, educating and guiding farmers on a diversity of issues that affect not just yield and production, but also soil health and water quality. The ever-increasing consumer demand for sustainably produced food has led to the development of the just-announced CCA Sustainability Specialization Certification.

The Fund has long recognized the important farmer-advisor relationship and is making significant investments in the research and development of new tools and resources, and in the identification of new market opportunities to benefit both the environment and the agricultural industry. We look forward to seeing the positive impact of this new certification in the Great Lakes Region.

The article comes from the American Society of Agronomy and we found it on the Morning AgClips website.
