Kate Bartter

Columbus, Ohio

Kate Bartter serves as Executive Director of the Sustainability Institute at The Ohio State University. She manages university sustainability initiatives, such as the academic collaboration component of the Comprehensive Energy Management Project, and builds effective external sustainability partnerships. Ms. Bartter also chairs the President’s and Provost’s Council on Sustainability.

Ms. Bartter served Ohio Governor Bob Taft’s administration as the Chief Policy Advisor and Director of Cabinet Affairs and as the Executive Assistant for Environment and Natural Resources.

Ms. Bartter was appointed to the board of the Great Lakes Protection Fund in March of 2018.
