We Welcome Kimberly Wright, Our New Executive Assistant

GLPF

The Fund is pleased to announce our newest staff member — we welcome Kimberly Wright as Executive Assistant. Kimberly will provide organizational support and oversee various responsibilities across administrative operations, information management, and events.

Kimberly is a Chicago native with a philanthropic, administrative, and environmental background. Prior to joining the Fund, she worked at the Irving Harris Foundation and spent time as a park ranger at Yosemite National Park in California.

“We are thrilled to have Kimberly as a key member of our team. She brings a unique blend of expertise and passion for environmental stewardship. Her experience—from the urban settings of Chicago to the backcountry of Yosemite—equips her with a deep appreciation for and understanding of natural ecosystems. Her passion will help us build deeper connections within the Great Lakes community and drive our mission forward,” noted David Rankin, Executive Director.

Kimberly holds a Bachelor’s degree in forestry from Southern Illinois University and a Master’s degree in public policy from the Harris School at the University of Chicago.
