We Welcome Nora Grasse, Our New Program Associate

GLPF

The Fund is pleased to announce the newest member of the GLPF Team — we welcome Nora Grasse as Program Associate. Nora will primarily support program work through research, analysis, and data management.

Nora brings deep experience in environmental science research. She is committed to adaptive ecosystem management techniques and centering environmental justice in a social-ecological systems approach to finding environmental solutions.

“We are thrilled to welcome Nora to the Fund! Nora brings impressive technical knowledge, data prowess, and curiosity to her work. Her skills will be invaluable as we seek innovative solutions to improve the health of our Great Lakes.”   Erin McCarville, Vice President of Programs.

Nora comes to the Fund most recently as a researcher at Argonne National Laboratory, where she studied phytoremediation (growing plants in polluted areas to clean up contamination) and ecosystem services within sustainable bioenergy landscapes. She received her Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources and Environmental Science from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
